Acan Lord placement Question

I got a new frag of Acans today, and i'm wanting to put it on the same rock as a different small colony of acans i have. Would there be any problems with this? I noticed at the LFS they had them all growing around each other.

I believe it is hit or miss, personally I would not have them touching.

I would allow 5 to 6 inches between them if it were me.
