acclimate!

I have heard differing opinions on how to acclimate new fish. I was just wondering what you all found to be successful. I am sure there are many opinions out there worth hearing. I have personally never drip acclimated but I am wondering if this is the best way??? 8O

The drip acclimation is the only way I acclimate fish now. I used to acclimate fish by floating the bag and adding water periodically but I found that i get better results by using the drip method with an airstone then doing a freshwater bath and into quaratine. After three weeks in quarantine, they then go into my main.
