I just picked up a bunch of "plexiglass" for free. I've been wanting to make a fuge. My question is how can you tell what the plastic is? It's a clear plastic with a translucent green protection film on it with no writing. I'm going to be making my own HOB fuge like the CPR model. I actually have enough to make a 30gal sump/fuge but I'm not sure if I want to deal with the prob of siphons as my tank is not drilled. Anybody have any idea or reason why I shouldn't use this "plexiglass"?

TIA

3/8" is IMO the most versitile thickness and my personal favorite to work with. Regardless if it being extruded or cast it is strong enough for most projects. It's perfect for a project that size. (y)
