hey all, i had the fun of obtaining a heap of coral from a store and within one of the pieces i found an aiptasia anemone,

actually the funny part was i didnt realise they were bad until i was reading up on peppermint shrimp and found they eat them, after i saw a picture and identified i quickly set on destruction of the anemone, as they are bad, and spread easily.

luckily the anemone was on a small piece of coral with a lps, and i managed to submerge the anemone in boiling water without hurting the other parts, schrivelled up real quick.

heres a picture in case some of you dont know what they look like,

If you can inject them with lemon juice or something close to just in case they aren't dead. Or at least that is what I would do better safe than sorry you know.

dont worry, it was only one luckily and on top of cooking the little pest, i also burried the part of the rock it was residing as there was a really nice specimen on the other side.
