Algae in refugium not growing?

The algae in my refugium has not grown. Is there something I can do to help it increase in size? I run a 65w plant light on it 24/7.

I might try running the light opposite your main display tank. 12 on 12 off

150 gallon sump with only a 65 watt bulb? Can you tell me a little more about the plant placement as regards to the light? I guess what I am asking is how much area is that bulb expected to light as far as the plants are concerned, and how far away from the plants are they?

I use an iron supplement from Kent to help my macroalgea (grape calerpa)
It says Super Chelated Iron----- Macro - algea supplement with manganese for reef type marine aquariums. It causes mine to grow pretty quick. I feeding for three big tangs. No time for slow growth.
