I have been having a problem with the green algae on my glass since I set up my new PC lights. I rearranged some of my hardware and fond that with one of my PHs pointed directly across the glass from one end to the other, It keeps the glass clear.

My question?

I run 2 PHs in my 55g and want to know what kind of, or how much current is OK as apposed to, too much.

Would it be better to run them from the same end, facing the same direction and blow across both front and back panes, or perhaps that would cause to much turbulence? Should I run them on opposite side, opposite ends and create a circular water pattern?

Lastly, ...Is this too much current for 55g?

Thanks

Hmmm, I was running approx 20-25 X tank volume per hour and just added another 8 X per hour PH. (these are run by a wave maker) Recommended is at least 10 X per hour turn over.
