What causes green colour patch(algae?) on my coral chip(free from tioman) surface ?
Do i have to add anything to have the same effect on my dead skeleton coral ?

I am assuming you mean "coral skelaton" by coral chip unless possibley a frag. Green algaes are most notabley caused by higher PO4 levels in the tank. I can assure you this is something you do not want. Once established they can be a real pain to get rid of. If you like the green color, try finding some LR with green coralline and propagate that instead. Much nicer and beneficial to the tank.

Thanks for the info.....I have alway thought becos of the nutrients or something that promote the growth of those green patch.... so the culprit is PO4 levels in the tank.

You would have test to be sure but it would be the best place to start.
