I have been seeing spurts of different algea in my tank. It was mainly on the back wall at once, and then went away. And that was normal as I had seen the before. By the way the tank is over 2 years old and Im using an RO system for water. All levels are good and stable. I run VHO 660 watts about 8-9 hours a day which I have always done due to corals.
Now Im seeing like "hair balls" or tufts of algea...think and in patches. Also seeing big long stings from one end of the tank to the other at times....just strings...any idea what this is? Also on some of the LR there is little tiny patches of literally fine hair algea....
How to get rid of it? Will test my phos tomorrow.
