ammonia to high?

myammoinia levels are way high I have taken the fish out in put them in the main tank because there is alot of live sand i only have 2 fish in the q tank with the high levels i chaged water once but it is still high and one of the fish is actting up what should i do please help i dont want to loose my fish thank you

Continue to do water changes, about 25-50% per day. Once the levels are down you can use a product called Amquel plus to keep your ammonia levels and nitrite levels under control (I know it will work for ammonia, I do not know about the nitrite)
