are blue legged hermits anenome friendly it seems to me i have heard of them killing an anenome

They shouldn't be a concern. Most reef type hermits will not typically steer clear of anemones due to the protection of their shell but they are not prone to attacking them. They will however use their shell to push the tentacles and oral disc out of the way.

Cheers
Steve

I have several blue leg and scarlet hemits and they have never bothered my Rose BTA. If the crab is reef safe you should not have a problem.

You take your chances with any new inhabitant. They could be the black sheep of the species. I haven't had any problems with mine and my bta, but I probably won't replace him if he goes.
