Another protien skimming question??

My protien skimmer collection cup is just filling up with water that looks crystal clear. is this normal after a 25 percent water change. or is there something that i need to do?

Thanks for the help.

You need to turn it down, after a waterchange I would expect it to stop skimming alltogether for several hours or a day, but not skim water.

What did you use to condition the water?..Some conditioners make skimmers over react.

I used Aqua Clear for the treatment.

Does it have a slime coat promoter in it? If so that is the problem
