Any Differences ?
When setting a marine aquarium by using the
DSB
, can put a layer of Biohome Filter Pellet (
http://www.aqua-bio.com/en/biohome/benefits.html
)
MEGALITE(
http://www.pondshop.com/catalog/megalite.htm
)or Biolit(
http://www.allproducts.com.tw/sup005/eelake/p1.html
) in-between the sandbed for biological activity ?
Will it be more effective as compared putting inside a power filter ?

Use sand only, the products you mention are not necessary and not recommended.

I thought the products help for biological activities to reduce ammonia, nitrite and nitrate ?

The sand will handle that all by itself

Those products based upon their size can acutally cause the
DSB
to operate less effecently.
