Just thought I'd get some input before I tried such an event.

I've a 10 gal Sump where everything is parked: Fluval, Skilter Filter, Heater, LR and Mag 7 return.

I want to put a light on a timer on the sump, but was not sure if I should put some critters in the sump to clean up the tank. It's pretty safe just short of the extra current of 300-400 gph going thru this little 10gal.

Advice? :?

I turned the return part of my sump into a fuge. I have a SSB some rubble for pods and macro algae in there. I also some snails who made the trip through the overflows and have taken up residence there.
I removed any hermits I had left in the main tank and moved them to the fuge too, though none are left now.

I have some in my refuge even though I did not add them to it.. Dont know how they got there just know they are there. Also if you do add a light and calerpa and you have a timer make sure light in sump is on oppisite of light in main.
