Got my first clam for the tank last night. But my only question is this... what do these fellas eat?

I have been dosing my tank with Phylo Plankton for about 2 weeks and I am almost done.

Will this be enough or do I feed it something else?

What type coral is it. How about a pic. Some not all clams are high light corals and wont survive woutout the light. I never fed my clams. They get all they need from the lighting and water column.

For most clams, even smaller ones according to recent research, lighting is mostly what is required for survival. They are filter feeders as well, so a feeding now and then won't hurt.
