bak pak 2

I'm in the market for a protien skimmer. I'm pretty sure i'm going with a bak pak 2 but i've found that there is a bak pak 2 and a bak pak 2R - Reef ready, what is the difference?

There's also a dual Bak- Pak 2 unit for large size aquarium.
