Are those fish safe with shrimp?

Yes they are unless you have tiny tiny shrimps and massive cardinals but they are considered reef safe so 99% sure they will be fine (1% is the unpredictability that every fish is different)

you'd be surprised by how big pj cardinals can get. They'll eat a shrimp if they can fit it in their mouth. you should be good with the cleaner, not sure about the others.

I have a decent sized bangaii with my cleaner and pistol. No problems. I wouldn't trust him with sexy shrimp, though. And I don't have any peppermint.

3.5" sounds small. but when they are fully grown they are a large bodied fish and as tall as they are long.

I had both species with a coral banded and no issues. I have had a bangaii and an ochre-striped with a skunk cleaner and peppermints without issue. I still have the ochre-striped and he now lives with a skunk cleaner, a fire, and a peppermint without any issues. Definitely add the shrimp first, or the fish will think they are food. I would never trust them with sexy shrimp, however.
