Base Rock needs seeding

Okay, so I have 70lbs of base rock that needs some seeding, hopefully I can get some amphipod and such to help with the ammonia/nitrites/nitrates. My question is, how much LR do I need to seed my 70lbs? My aquarium is 50 gallon 36x15x20x

The more lr you use the faster your base rock will have life on it. 1 good piece would do it, but it would take some time. However i think that using 30 lbs would go better with more bio-diversity.

I would add 20 to 30 pounds and it should seed quickly and be enough filtration for your tank
