Best size heater for 37 gal....
I dont want to get anything bigger than neccesary.....how many watts would be reccomended for a 37
gal
?
Also, any brands of heaters better than others?

Do you have a sump or a fuge? A 37g tank with a 10g sump equals a 47g water volume heater that is neded.

No sump, just a
hob
fuge.
It is roughly 48 gallons.

I'd get one rated for a 50 or 55
gal
tank. It will have a temp switch to shut off when it gets to your desired temp. If you got a smaller one it would have to work longer and therefore over work it.
