I would use both if you can. However, depending on the type of fish you have/want, certain ones may decide to make a meal out of them.

I'd agree that you should use both. Some sites recommend a cleaner crew w/snails, crabs, and other stuff (starfish, cucumbers, and etc). Might not want to get the enire pkg at once some would say. Gotta have enuf algea growth in a mature enuf tank to sustain an entire crew as recommended IMHO. Some like to put cleaners in a bit at a time so they don't starve. I agree with that approach.

And as Salttanker said, depending on the fish you decide on, you may not be able to have any of those things. WHat size tank you workin' with and what kinda fish you gonna have?

i am going to have a 20 gallon long that will eventually have two clowns, a firefish and a royal gramma and a bit of live rock.

Thats gonna be a tight fit, especially with only a "bit" of live rock.
