Black sea cuccumber

I am adding a black cucumber to my tank, I read that you shouold take out hermit crabs if you have any so it doesn't,t poison your tank. All I have is blue legged ones. Do you still think I should take them out

how big is your tank? How deep is your sand? how many and what kind of fish do you have.

130 gallon. Scoapas tang, fowface, 4 flasher wrasse. 2 oscallis clowns, blackcap basslet, 2 yellow coral goby, blue damsel, watchman, fire fish, pipefish, bangai cardinal. Sand bed is about 3 inches. Tank is a year and a half old
