Is it ok to use a bleach water mix in a spray bottle to clean my qt tank, assuming i rinse it out very well with water after im done. I was thinking a 2% bleach to 98% water mix to kill any nasties. Or is there something better to use?

Bleach is fine but use a 10-1 solution. 2% isn't all that strong. Be sure to refill the tank with fresh water and add a dechlorinator (for chloramines) to be safe and a powerhead for a few hours. Empty and let air dry.

Cheers
Steve

I'd use pure vinegar. It'll kill anything, disolves calcium carbonate and a small amount is harmless to your fish if some gets missed.
