Hi all,
:D I am looking for a recipe that will accomodate all my saltwater friends; fish corals and inverts alike. I am looking for one that will feed my carnivores and herbivores and filterfeeders all in one.
Here is what I have in my 55g reef:

saddle clown
2 blue damsels
coral beauty
lawnmower blenny
sm. yellow tang
coral banded shrimp
xlg colt coral
lg toadstool leather
lg purple gorg.
sun polyps
green star polyps
daisy polyps
green ricordia
closed brain
flower anemone
frogspawn
mushroom colony
lg curlyque anemone

What I would like to do, is freeze the food in serving size amounts.
All recipes are greatly appreciated.

thanks

Howard :D

Equil parts of

Raw Shimp
Raw Oysters
Raw Squid
Raw Tuna
Raw Scallops

(basicly anytype of availiable raw seafood)

Add to that some cut up sheets of nori, liquid vitemans and tank water to adjust consistancy.

Unless you got really small icecube trays you will be best to put it in frezzer bags and lay them in the frezzer at a thickness of no more than 1/4".

Note you dont need alot of each individual seafood item. Less than a pound of each will make food for several months.

Thank you FF for the recipe. I have heard that garlic is healthy for the fish, do you recommend this and if so how much for say a cup of blended food? Also, do you have a suggestion for vitamins?

Yes 1 or 2 Fresh Garlic Cloves would be great.. Most of us use some sort of garlic in the mix.. Add it first so it gets really well chopped or liquidfied..

HTH,
James

BTW for my food recipe I add everything that I can find for fish food..
My last batch was

Krill
Sweetwater Zooplankton
Freeze Dried Phyto
mysis Shrimp
Brine shrimp
Flake food
and 2 garlic cloves..
The fish and inverts love it alot.. The corals dont seem to mind it either..

I like to add cod fish to my recipe as well, cod oil is quite good for them.
Also, if it hasnt been mentioned already, dont take off any part of the fish,
leave on heads, tails, all the nifty stuff!
