I bought two Peppermint Shrimp to eat Aiptasias. They won't touch 'em.

I bought two Emerald Crabs to eat bubble algae. They crawl right by it!

Just a rant ...

Seems someone forgot to school the inverts on proper tank etiquette. LOL I've bought everything under the sun that was supposed to eat hair algae and no one ever touched it. I guess it's hit and miss most times. GL

I just got a yellow tang and he seems to be cutting way back on the hair algae.

horseshoe crabs have always kept hairalgae at bay ime... tryed them :?: You need plenty of sand, though- cc doesn't work for them.

If they aips are big the peps wont touch them. they will probably control the smaller one though.

HTH

I also bought a peppermint to take care of aiptasia, it ate the hair algae instead, go figure. Boiling water straight from the microwave with a little lime juice in a baster or dropper does it for me, aiptasia free for two months now since I got the last one.
