Bottom Feeder Suggestions?

What are some good creatures to eat uneaten fish food off the substrate?

This would be for a 20 Gallon FO tank with no live rock and 2 small fish.

Go with 12 reef hermits, 6 snails and maybe a sand-sifting star.

In a 20, a sand sifter? Lando I rarely disagree with you , but I think it may starve in a 20. They get pretty big.

Will these bottom feeders also take care of fish waste on the top of the fine sand?

Second Question, are these bottom feeders happier in fine sand substrate or something more coarse.

Third Question, will the snails reproduce in the tank, or can I be sure if I start with 6 snails, I will only have 6 snails?
