Breeding Clownfish

We are strating to breed our clown fish and we have about 15 hermit crabs in the tank with the clowns. We wanted to know if it would be best to take them out before they start to lay. Thanks for the help.

The hermit crabs will be fine. The male clown will protect the eggs. If any hermit crab gets to close he will move it. I've watched mine move snails that have gotten to close to the eggs as well as biting me if my hand gets to close for their comfort.
