brittle star in fuge?

I have a chance to buy a brittle star off of craigslist but ive read that they can kill live stock. Can i put him in fuge with live rock in there? AND if i do get him can i/should i quarintine him? if so what to feed while in qaurntine?

I would just put him it the fuge. Acclimate him good to the tank water.
