Brown coralline algae,is there such a thing?

Hi everone...i noticed today some brown hard spots on my glass that resemble my purple coralline algae.its stuck hard where i couldnt scrub it off jist like the purple..is there such a thing as brown coralline or is it some other type? Thanks any jelp appreciated..

It comes in many colors you can use a straight edge razor blade to help scrap it off , or get yourself a nice scraper with a long handle so you don't have to go swimming

Thanks ,i have a nice scraper that i use for the front .so than no worries about the brown?
