Bumble Bee snails

I got a Bumble Bee snail several years ago. It only has one yellow stripe. I picked up a couple more at LFS and their BB snails have several yellow stripes. Can you paint snails? I think my new additions are painted, they are very black and yellow.

No. They are probably different species? I doubt anyone has the time to paint snails..or invented an saltwater safe paint to stick on snails

I know they paint some freshwater fish so I thought they may do the same to saltwater.
