california stingray and reef??

since I am planning to get a bigger tank,
I want to know if califonia stingray/Cortez Stingray r reef safe or not?
or any rays is reef safe and can be house in a 120gal tank.

I highly doubt it. They probably would make a mess too. Also, if it is really from California then it would need colder water than what most coral need.

yea did more research on california ray, they need colder water
so I m thinking cortez which is smaller and live in warmer water.
but if the ray its gonna make a mess in the tank, I might just stay as a pure reef~

Dosent matter either way, the stingray needs lots of bare sand bottom. Unless it was a really WIDE square tank then i would say no.
