Calling all tang police

So I have a question on the hypothesis that it is possible to keep a kole or bristled tooth tang such as the tomini an the square tail in a 55g? This is only a question as I was researching tank sizes an realized that a 55 an a 75 have almost the exact same size except for a extra 3in on a 75g.

So what would your honest opinion be on this?

A 75 would be best, but it is doable in a 55.
