I just got a nice Rose BTA and of course my clowns want nothing to do with it because he wants to be high up at the top and they like to be down low on the bottom. However, my hermit crab, zebra reef harmit I think, is constantly sitting in or near the anemone! I have seen him put his shell into the center and back all they way in so his feet hang out. Is this normal or is this hurting the BTA? I will yank him and put him down below if he is crossing the line, but if not it is kind of funny to watch.

TIA

If the anemone remains open I think all is well. If it appears irritated, or closes up when the crab touches it he may be eating it, or just bothering it. As long as the anemone looks healthy I don't see any reason to worry. Give the clowns time, you never know.
