Can Soft Corals Handle Hyposalinity?

Hey All,


Right now I have a 29g tank that I use for my QT tank.

As my Soft Corals grow, I am looking into Fragging them, and possibly selling them to the LFS.

I was thinking about using my 29g tank to allow the frags to grow a little before selling to the LFS.

My question is, Can Soft Corals handle Hyposalinity? That is the methoid I use in my QT tank to cure ich.

I am hoping to make my 29g tank a dual purpose tank.

No, generally corals and other inverts need fulll strength seawater (1.023-1.026).

ahh.. So much for Dual Purpose!

I might just have to convert it to a Coral tank, and get a 10g for a QT.
