I waited until these guys were asleep because the translucent bubble coming from under the cap of that polyp is hard to see when they're all open. What is it? Why? Is it bad?

Looks like a type of sponge. Google pineapple sponge. I would say harmless and you can remove it if you want. Do it underwater you don't want anything squirting in your eye.

Ok it's not looking like a pineapple sponge. It really looks like a bubble. I'm not familiar with the reproduction of these guys. Could he be splitting?
