Hi,

I wanted to know if you frag a coral in order to prune it, do i have to save it or can i just throw it away. I somehow have mixed messages because in the first place i want to reduce the amount of coral, but then is it humane?

TIA

ME? I'd throw it...
they don't feel pain...
If it makes u feel better ice cold water dip it then toss it...

What do you have to frag?
I'm in cali :) Cheap shipping :) ! ! !

Why not set up a small frag tank to let them attach. Then send them to me. Free. Or better yet send $10 with them so I can go to lunch. Yeah, that's a better idea. Oh, and send a 6pack too.

I know, for real...instead of throwing the frags away, give them away or sell them! I'm sure many people here would be interested. :)

Availbility might be an issue if your fragging something tahts somewhat common or even undesirable. If you check with yoru local LFS you might be able to get a few $ for frags.

Problem with a prop tank can be if you dont have the room or funds to set it up.

Whats your lighting ?
I got some shrooms that would be ok I think...
