Caulerpa Tankin'

I put some grape caulerpa in my refugium about a week ago and no it looks like its just disintegrating. I have a bayco 6500k 13w light over it and good flow thru it. Also have gracillilaria and maidens hair in the fuge. Any ideas on whats goin on?

Probably "goin sexual". I have never had luck keeping the grape variety.....no matter what my efforts to acclimate, lighting, etc. I would remove whatever is left....has it turned the tank cloudy at all?

nope, tank is super clear. Doubt its goin sexual ive had light on it 24/7 just looks like its dying.

are you supposed to keep the light on it 24/7? I haven't done that and my culerpa is doing wonderful! Its growing like crazy.

yes, had the tank up for about 5 months

shoot I forgot to ask the size of the refugium... how big is it? it could also be that there isn't enough food for all three.. but I doubt it.. whats the fish load and snail load?
