What are the light requirements for this?

I keep finding mixed results, some people swwear by t5, and other's just give it a house bulb and call it good.

I am just using one of those florescent 10w 50/50 on one of those clip on lights...Works for me..

i have a standard freshwater flourescent over my macroalgae.

that's what I was thinking. I guessed the growth wasn't induced but photosynthesis, rather other nutrients in the water.
