Chiller advice

Looking to add a chiller to my red sea max 250 just want some advice on what to get and how to install it eg just a submersible 1000 LPH pump etc...

I have been offered a aqua one chiller brand new for $200 are they any good

I bought an ac unit. Kept the house cool and no need for a chiller lol. Unless you're running metal halides 2" off your tank you should be able to get away without a chiller. Some people run a fan across the top of the sump or tank to keep temps down. MUCH cheaper than a chiller lol

On problem I have is I live on south Australia where summer heats gets above 44'c and even with air on 20 room temp is around 30

Ahh the outback lol jk. You could try placing a fan so it blows across the top of the sump/tank. I'm not familiar with the chiller you mentioned so I'm not sure of its quality. Sorry I can't be more help.

Just did a quick google search. Depending on what size it is they're selling for up to well over $1000. So yea, I'd buy it for $200 lol

I'm running mh bout 2-3" for water gets hot I need to buy a chiller badly
