Chromi sex identification

Are Chromis the same as Clown fish when it comes to what sex they are? I have 2 clowns and I can already tell which one is taking over the female role. They were the same size when I got them and now she has doubled in size and the other has just grown a little. I had 3 chromis but one got killed. Of the other 2, I have noticed one of them growing quite a bit faster then the other.

Chromis are kind of different, and I don't think you can sex them the same way as Clown fish
