Clam question

I finally have enough light to keep a clam or two. This was the main reason for upgrading the lights. I have a 72G bowfront. With 300W of MH and 195W of PC lighting, where do I need to place the clam to be happy? Will it be ok on the sand or will I need to place it higher? I am thinking either a Maxima or Crocea. Thanks

They will be fine in either place but they seem to do better if they can attach to a rock - especially the Crocea.
