clams
I have read online that clams would be good addition to tanks because they help take care of nitrates as they feed? is this the case? are they recommened?

The nitrates clams take care of is very minimal. The way to handle nitrates is to keep up on water changes

No doubt they are a great addition. I would love to have a few but I have a feeling my bi color angel would pick at it eventually killing it.
