what else would you put into my tank for a clean up crew, the tank is 70gallon, reef with fish.in there now is,
4 astraea conehead snails
2 blue leg hermit crabs
1 candy striped cleaner shrimp
1 serpant starfish
let me know what else i should get and how many, thanx.

Here is what I have in my new 120 gallon tank, This crew seems to be keeping the rock and sand clean, but not the glass. I am thinking about adding some more next month as the tank become more stable.

Nassarius Snail 6
Sand Sifting Sea Star 1
Astraea Turbo Snail 6
Cerith Snail 6
Peppermint Shrimp 3
Bumble Bee Snails 6

In my 65 galion reef I have:

1 blue tuxedo urchin
10 dwarf zebra crabs
25 small blue hermits
2 electric blue hermits
10 bumble bee snails
5 cerith snails
5 naricissus (sp) snails

They are doing a pretty good job. I have found the snails to be less of a help with the algae but are good scavengers. I still plan on adding about 20 more small hermits. You can safely have about i hermit per pound of live rock. I have added mine slowly, you can always add more if they are not doing the job!

yeah i need some more hermits for sure i only have 2

You actually don't "need" hermits in the strictest sense. Given the right mix and quantity of snail species, hermits are unneccessary.
