Cleaner wrasse.......

ok so if you see a cleaner wrasse eat frozen brine shrimp and ocean plankton on a regular basis is it then ok to purchase that cleaner wrasse? Everything i read so far says if you k now for a fact they will eat then they will be fine as long as you make sure that you give them appropriate sized food.

there are eating brine shrimp and are doing fine.............. :P

It has always been my understanding that cleaner wrasses cannot get the nutrition they need from prepared foods. They need a constant steady source of parasites to thrive. That said there are some exceptions to the rule.
