Hi,

The time has come for me to shut down my 100l soft coral and fish tank and live without an aquarium for a few years.

I hope to make a comeback in a few years time, so I was wondering about how to best clean equipment for long-term storage.

The stuff I am wondering about is:
* Cooler
* Skimmer (Nano Remora)
* Pumps (Koralia)
* Tank and sump

PS: Aquarium advice has been very helpful. I'll be sure to return in the future :)

I would say clean all real good with bleach/water mixture and store in protection from breaking.

Vinegar works realy well Dilute it with water clean everything well and rinse air dry it and store somewhere out of the elements,and u should be fine

Most everyone I know myself included uses vinegar to clean the equipment. The powerheads I let run over night or a couple of days in the vinegar and water.
