I've finally put my 55gal tank stand together and I purchased my salt + ordered a RO/DI unit off ebay. While I'm waiting on the RO/DI to get here I'm curious what you guys used to clean the inside of your tank before you put the water etc inside? I'm assuming using any cleaner will leave chemicals and such in there. hmm??

TIA>

Is it new or used?
I clean my qt tank with hot water and bleach when I'm done using it. If you rinse and dry it well, no worries.

Its new but it has a lot of dust and other stuff in it.

I would give is a good bleaching. Who knows what could have spilled in it. Should have seen me cleaning my 210 when I first brought it home. Now that was some work. 8O
