I went to the
LFS with plans to get some Green Star Polyps. I wanted some with nice flouresent green color and I ended up picking this rock out. It had Neon Green Polyps on one side and Mint Green Polyps on the other side. In the middle was some Clove Polyps that were about 2 inches each.
By the time I got home, all the polyps were some dots on the rock. I left it in a spot that seemed good from my research. (medium flow and medium to high lighting from my power compacts). The entire tan area on the rock was covered with polyps. Today most of the Green Star Polyps were open, but the Clove Polyps were no where to be seen. I did read on one site that they can retract completely into the base, but I am not sure of this.
Anyone have experience with these? Any recommendations?
