I want to start a whole nother tank for this. My end result would be to breed clownfish.

The tank itself is nothing more than a little 10g qt like setup. You just have to be sure it's cycled. That's the easy part. Have you thought about how you will feed the fry? That's the hard part. You need to culture rotifers to feed the babies and you need to grow phytoplankton to feed the rotifers.
