I have a clown that takes host in a Colt coral
And my LFS has one that lives on a mushroom....
So anything is possible !

Clownfish will claim lots of different things. Caves, powerheads, heaters, corals, plants, etc. Here is a pic of a maroon clown that has claimed a featherduster.

mine like to chill in a LR cave in the front corner of my tank. They just started with it and get pissed when ever anythig gets close.
