Colony Polyp question

I just recvd my order which included the super colored colony polyps from liveaquaria.com. I also got some ricordea shrooms and candy cane coral. All are doing well and opening up a little at a time. Even the polyps are openingwhich surprised me since I have only had them for 3 days. My concern is a white substance growing on the polyps. It looks slimy and looks like cotton. All perameters are good and I used gloves during placement. Some smell was in the polyps bag when opened from the mail.

Is this the polyps dying off?

I hope not. The ones that have opened are very nice looking. What can I do to help these along if it is dying off?

I would just give it some time. Some corals will slime a bit after transport. If they are opeing, that is a good thing.
