confused clownfish

one of my clownfish is treating my sea star like an anenome. its wiggling up against it just like it would to an anenome? should i be worried, or is my clownfish just bicurious and looking for a good time with something different? lol

It's not uncommon for clown fish to seek a host even if an anemone is not available. Wanna good laugh? Offer the clown some krill or squid and watch it feed the starfish...LOL. I had a clownfish in the store I work at take to a fake plant as if it were an anemone and would shove food in the branches...LOL.

lol mine hosts the filter intake... its funny to watch him rub against it and wiggle up and down... at first I thought it would be bad for him... but he seems fine and its been 3 months.

My clown lives in my colt coral. Whatever they feel comfortable about. I would not worry. Good Luck
