Coral colours

Are there certain factors that determine coral colours? Like water perimeters or light colour?
I ask because I have a couple SPS corals that are showing a green tinge when they were purple before!

Mostly lighting determines corals color but excess nutrients can cause corals to brown. A lot of the time sps will change slightly when moved to different lightings.

By lighting do you mean par value only or K value( colour) ?

Both. I know my red planet under higher par values will be bright red but under lower par it stays green. Also, higher k usually brings out much nicer colors whereas low kelvin makes them kinda brown.
